When we used gas we always had our thermostat set on 68 degrees in the daytime and at night we would turn the furnace down to 50 degrees to save on gas. Now that we have the geothermal system we leave the thermostat set on 70 degrees all the time and the temperature stays on 70 degrees. No up and down on the temperature.
